Die folgenden Postkarten und Fotos veranschaulichen diese Zeit. Nach der Kanalerweiterung und dem Bau der Neuen Schleuse 1914 verlor der Alte Hafen schnell an Bedeutung. Februar 1981 ein.<br /> &lt;br/&gt;Auf der Elbe, bei Mole 4, kollidierte das Küstenmotorschiff „Miranda“ mit dem Tanker „Dorsch“. Die „Miranda“ (ex &quot;Bernd Gunda&quot;) drohte zu sinken und wurde sicherheitshalber in die Braakemündung geschleppt und dort auf Grund gesetzt.<br /> &lt;br/&gt;Bereits einen Tag später wurde sie von dort vom Schlepper „Bugsier 11“ in die Neue Südschleuse geschleppt.
